  GREAT first experience!  Breakfast was delicious.
  
  Very clean inside, with great staff members.  Coffee stayed hot and filled.
  
  Our meals :
  
  (1) western omelette, hashbrowns and bacon .
  
  (2) French combo, French toast, eggs and bacon
  
  Both meals were great.   Will definitely be back.

  Pretty good place. Good variety and moderately priced. Good portions and friendly staff. Frequently have to ask for refills on my pop. Seems the wait staff doesn't come and check if you need anything often enough.
  
  Have had a couple of my takeout orders incomplete as well and have had to explain to the waitress on the phone what a loose burger is and still got my order wrong it's on the Menu.
  
  The food tastes good though. They now serve Alcohol. It doesn't compare as a coney island compared to Lafayette, American, National, and Leo's in my opinion or even Benny's locally. On a side note, no one wants green peppers in their loose burgers. No Coney Islands serve them that way, I have been to tons of coney's and have never got them that way. Just at Monroe Grill.
  
  I know they close at 8 pm. I called my pickup in at 725 pm. They call me at 740 pm asking where I'm at because they close soon. I told them I was on my way and be there within 10 minutes. I got there to pick up my food and I mentioned to cashier that I know what time you close and there was plenty of time so don't call and see how much longer I'm going to be. She said well I always do that when it's getting close to quitting time. I do not take it as a kind gesture. I took it as hurry up so we can get out of here.
  
  You are no longer allowed to vape in the restaurant at all or even at the bar counter like in past and you are not even allowed to vape in their bar next door!

  This menu is enormous. And they have a good Bloody Mary. I not from around here, but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. My omelette was delicious. My family enjoyed their food as well. I highly recommend.

  Huge menu and quite a few daily specials.  Lemon rice soup is often of the special list and is very good!  
  
  My fav here is the city chicken - I would like to say it's just like mom makes but it's not.,,thankfully!  Unlike mom's, this city chicken is very moist and had a wonderful gravy over it.  This is the way that city chicken should be done!
  
  I also had the chicken parm one evening and really enjoyed that too!  It was enough for a few meals for me (I don't eat much as I had bariatric surgery).  However normal sized tummies can prolly get two meals out of it as well.

  This by far the worst place I have ever eaten! Service great! Beautiful layout! The food was nasty.. Monroe county jail serves better food..this is the first I've eaten of the dinner portion of the menu Breakfast was always decent! I will not return for a dinner, I ordered meatloaf I received some type of dried out slices which were orange around the edges smothered in gravy with a foul after taste. My side salad was good tho... my boyfriend ordered  hot turkey sandwich 1 piece of turkey and a yellow gravy mustard yellow, he ate 3 bites and we paid our bill and left... Won't be returning..
